For SURE-LINE rehabilitation, the two most common design cases are partially deteriorated and fully deteriorated pipe. Partially deteriorated pipe provides significant strength the to SURE-LINE HDPE liner because the existing pipe is still somewhat functional. In the fully deteriorated case, the original pipe is not structurally sound and cannot support the design parameters required. The fully deteriorated case is supported by: 1) missing sections of the original pipe, 2) the pipe no longer retaining its roundness, and/or, 3) the pipe being severely corroded.
